hey y’all it’s mod vic per usual. so most of the mods of this blog have either jumped ship because of the fuckass nsfw ban or they’ve moved on from tumblr so i’m not too sure what i want to do now. i post about the experiences of being black, gender non-conforming, and bi more so on my personal blog rather than this blog so…feel free to follow me there.
for lesbians, there’s @blacklesbianssafe which is ran by my best friend, ricki. it’s basically this blog but it centers lesbian experiences. i am not too aware of any other black-wlw-specific blogs.
the person “mod dia” has expressed that they would like me to delete and/or leave this blog within the week so that someone else can use this url for something more productive BUT also i could just give someone control of this blog after deleting our posts. there’s around 4k of you and it would be cool if someone could continue using the small platform we’ve accumulated to promote positivity and good things for black wlw better than we have.
so, if you’re interested in being a new mod/having creative control of this blog (or whatever you make it into), please message me at @victhechick to let me know who you are and what would you wanna do differently!

it’s okay to experiment with labels. it’s okay to be unsure. you’re a black wlw who knows that they’re a black wlw, but you can’t pin it down on a specific label (lesbian, bi, pan, etc)? that’s okay. you’re okay. you’re not lying to anyone when you’re trying to figure yourself out.
